Roll-Outs at BMW North America, Shell, and More Capped Off a Year of Digital Transformation
What an incredible year for RealWear! The theme for much of 2019 was Safety, Security, and Stability.
We built a solid foundation with our Series B funding thanks to Teradyne, Bose Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures. We announced high-profile deployments from Shell, BMW North America, and many more.
In 2019, we united our community of connected worker pioneers at RealWear Summit and our very first RealWear Connect. And finally, our team introduced our rugged enterprise wearables to an even wider audience at events like Gastech, Hannover Messe, EWTS, and AWE.

RealWear Series B Pushes Total Funding Beyond $100M
Our $80M Series B gave the world of enterprise wearables huge confidence that RealWear will be here for the long-term. Echoing the themes of safety, security, and stability, Forbes cited our Series B when they wrote that RealWear is a force to be reckoned with.
Shell Introduces HMT Devices Around the World
In April 2019, we announced that Shell selected HMT-1Z1® to support its digital transformation. RealWear partner Honeywell deployed the devices to 24 Shell facilities across 12 countries.
RealWear Summit Unites 400 Leaders in Enterprise Wearables
Our 2nd RealWear Summit brought together customers and partners to discuss a wide range of use cases for rugged wearable computers. Guest speakers Honeywell, Qualcomm, Schlumberger and more shared results from their use of RealWear HMT devices. Watch the video above and relive the excitement!
HMT-1 Wins Best Headworn Device at the Auggie Awards!

BMW Rolls Out HMT-1 Across its North American Dealerships
BMW of North America’s all-new technical information system features Ubimax Frontline connected worker solutions running on RealWear HMT-1® enterprise wearables. This digital transformation initiative will improve the productivity and efficiency of BMW’s after-sales service.
RealWear Connect – Our First Summit in Europe
RealWear Connect brought together over 130 connected worker pioneers for presentations by Shell, Krones AG, Siemens, and more in Amsterdam. These leaders in enterprise wearables shared their results with RealWear devices, as well as best practices for deploying connected worker solutions to global teams.
